LE DÉFI
Grounded in GAIA HumanTech Cochabamba, Vector Zero proposes a 12-month scientific MVP combining controlled rearing and sterilization of male Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, planned releases—including evaluation of drone deployment—ovitraps, entomological monitoring, and GIS analysis. It is complementary: it does not replace sanitation, epidemiological surveillance, or health care.
PROPOSED PILOT

Rear, separate, sterilize, and verify male mosquitoes before gradual, traceable releases.
Use ovitraps, entomological indicators, and territorial analysis to evaluate efficacy, acceptance, and feasibility.
