Ser Mujer

Women’s empowerment, human development, and technology inclusion

A safe journey connecting confidence, relevant skills, support, and concrete opportunities defined by each participant.

THE CHALLENGE

Many women face overlapping barriers to training, networks, wellbeing, and economic opportunity. A stand-alone course cannot resolve those barriers by itself.

Grounded in GAIA HumanTech Cochabamba, Ser Mujer proposes a 12-month pilot cohort for 40 women in the municipality. It combines introductory drone piloting, operational safety, photography, and visual storytelling with leadership, emotional intelligence, creativity, and community building. Technology expands horizons; it is neither an obligation nor a measure of participants’ worth.

PROPOSED PILOT

Start small. Learn rigorously.

Listen safely

Co-design priorities, schedules, support, and safeguarding with women and specialized organizations.

Learn and create

Combine introductory piloting, visual storytelling, digital tools, leadership, and emotional intelligence with close mentoring.

Build pathways

Develop practical projects and connect each participant with education, networks, employment, or enterprise based on her goals.
